Don't Say "Baby" Baby Shower Game
In this game, guests are not allowed to say the word "baby" or any other word you choose (mommy's name is a popular choice). Each guest will receive either a plastic pacifier with a ribbon looped through it or a mini clothes pin. If you say the word "baby" whoever sees you can take your clothespin (or pins if you've collected some from other guests). Whoever has the most pacifiers or pins at the end of the shower or allotted time period wins the game. This game can also be played with our pearly pacifier favors.
In another version of this baby shower game, guests cannot touch their nose, face or hair, or they cannot cross their legs. This version can be really entertaining when your guests have to find alternative ways to scratch that nose (which you know will start to itch as soon as the game starts) or move hair from their face.
What's in the Basket? Baby Shower Game
To play this game the hostess has to prepare a gift basket or diaper cake with baby necessities for the mom-to-be. This gift can double as a game. Pass the basket around for the guests to admire your creative gift - you don't have to tell them they're playing a game. After everyone has taken a look, ask all the guests to make a list of items they saw in the gift basket. The guest who remembers the most items wins the game. You can play this game with one of our baby gift sets or our baby essentials diaper cake.
My Water Broke Baby Shower Game
For this game you only need to purchase small plastic babies (small enough to fit inside an ice cube), and paper cups. To begin the game, each guest receives an ice cube with a plastic baby inside, in a paper cup. The guest whose baby breaks free quickest wins the game. Players can assist their babies in breaking free. It is hilarious to watch what people will do to "assist".
Guesstimate mommy's belly
This one's an easy and entertaining game! Have the mom-to-be measure her belly with a ribbon (or a roll of toilet paper). Guests will then need to guess how big (or small) they think mom's belly is by measuring out a piece of ribbon (or toilet paper). Make sure mom gives all guests enough time to get a good look at the belly but only once and let the measuring begin! Measure the guests ribbons against mom's, whoever is closest in size is the winner!
